Our team started thinking about and working on the idea for our fall t-shirt “Be Strong, Stand Firm, and Always Remember Your Roots” many months before the 2020 pandemic hit…and what it meant to me then still remains the same – plus a little more! We hope it strikes a chord with you, too, as we continue through the many challenges that come our way.

The monarchs are starting to migrate out of our area this week, so in memory of them leaving we thought we’d share a little info about them!

Our journey began in the year 2000 as Kevin, my husband and the owner of Custom Creations Landscaping & Lawn, started mowing lawns as a side business in high school to support himself through college (hint, hint…notice the “grass roots”).

“Bee Original” …what does that mean to you?! Are you a trailblazer who isn’t afraid to try something new, exciting, and innovative? Are you strongly rooted in your values and beliefs, and don’t waver from your core even when the majority starts to change their views or lean another way?

The story behind one of our new shirts: “Work Hard, Play Hard, & Enjoy Life.” At first glance it’s completely self-explanatory, but I wanted to dig a little deeper.

We are a unique Garden Center and Gift Shop, and our primary mission is to provide homeowners with high-quality plants and professional landscaping supplies while also giving professional landscapers a local all-in-one supplier. We offer a unique variety of shrubs, annuals, perennials, native plants, trees, hardscapes, and many other landscape materials to complete your landscaping projects.
