I have been here a few times and each time it is a great experience. The people that work here are very kind and knowledgeable. And every plant I have got from them rather that being fruit bushes or indoor plants they all have thrived! They also have very reasonable prices so glad we have something like this place in Marshfield ❤️
I can’t tell you the amount of times I have been in and they were so nice, welcoming, and they had lots of knowledge on the plants and what was pet friendly! This is definitely my go to for all my garden and indoor plant needs!

I also appreciated the personal tips from the staff on how to ensure success with specific perennials like hydrangeas and lavender. If you’re looking to build a garden that comes back year after year, grass roots garden center is absolutely worth the visit. I’ll definitely be returning for more additions to my perennial beds!
Had a great experience with this company! We got some layered topsoil and compost, had a prompt delivery and super friendly staff. There’s no big clumps of clay or debris like we’ve had from other companies and the compost is a true, high quality finished compost. Will recommend them to everyone we know!
Awesome place. Has everything for landscaping. Mulch, plants, trees, rocks and boulders by the pound or pallet. They also have indoor plants. The people that work there are helpful, friendly, and knowledgeable.
They have absolutely exceeded our expectations and met every single need we’ve thrown at them! We couldn’t be more impressed. We have used a handful of suppliers in southwest Missouri and they are hands down the best!I was treated as if I was a friend, not just a customer. I am planning another visit very soon! We love love this place! We have always taken home healthy plants and Michelle is always so helpful to give recommendations on what or where to plant. The houseplant selection is also growing! There are a ton of items in the home and decor part of the store along with locally made items. Definitely worth a trip to visit!

Great selection of plants. Some natives. Plants were in gorgeous shape - very healthy. Gift shop was very cute. Gifts for kids. Interesting houseplant selections. Many miniatures that would be good in terrariums.
We really like everything about grassroots, we have now bought our topsoil our compost, and some of our rock, from them, we plan on buying plants. Their prices are good and their soil and compost is great.
Our family absolutely loves the experience we get when we visit the friendly folks at Grass Roots! Every one of them are very knowledgeable about anything you may have a question about! Our 9 year old Adores their sweet 😺 kittycat. They just have so much to offer!

Michelle saved my Christmas cactus! This past Spring I went in and talked to her about some issues with my houseplants. One issue was my Christmas cactus was just not growing. She recommended I try Cactus Plant Food and Soil Care. They did the trick. The pictures are before and after using those products. My little cactus is so happy amd growing so much. Plus my other plants look so healthy now.
