Systemic Insect Spray

1. How It Works

Systemic Insect Spray is a pest control product that works from inside the plant. It’s a systemic insecticide, meaning it’s absorbed by the plant and distributed throughout its system. When insects feed on the treated plants, they ingest the insecticide and die. This mode of action allows for long-lasting control of many types of insects.

2. Usage

Using Systemic Insect Spray is relatively easy. The product is applied to the soil around the plant or sprayed over the entire canopy. The plant then absorbs the insecticide, making its entire system toxic to pests. This is a great feature because it not only kills pests currently on the plant, but it also protects against new pests that might try to attack the plant later. It’s important to follow the product label instructions closely to ensure you’re using it safely and effectively.

Only use Spreader Sticker if applying Systemic to a plant’s foliage.

3. Targeting Specific Pests

Systemic Insect Spray is effective against a broad spectrum of pests. This includes aphids, whiteflies, beetles, and many other insects that are harmful to plants. It can be used on a variety of plants including ornamentals, flowers, shrubs, trees, fruits, and vegetables. This makes it a versatile tool in any pest control strategy. Always remember to use systemic products responsibly, as they can be harmful to beneficial insects if misused.

Watering Tips

  • Our watering advice is based on plants living in a 72 degree house. Porch life or humidity could have an impact on its watering needs.
  • Always use tepid water for watering your houseplants.
  • Broadleaf plants need less water in fall and winter, but you should never allow the soil to completely dry out.
